Corrupt judge prostrates, begs DSS boss after seeing proof of N500m bribe

Corrupt judge prostrates, begs DSS boss after

seeing proof of N500m bribe

One of the seven judges arrested by the Department of State Services, DSS, has admitted that he took bribes running into millions of naira.
A DSS source revealed that the judge on being confronted with the proof of the N500 million bribe he collected prostrated before the DSS boss and begged him not to expose him.
He was rolling on the floor and this was captured, the source told The Nation newspaper.
The judge had refused to unlock the safe in his house for DSS operatives to have access to its contents.
The DSS, however, plans to take possession of the safe to uncover its contents, the source said.
It was gathered that the agency has been questioning bank chiefs and directors over links with some of the alleged corrupt judges.
Those arrested were two Supreme Court Justices – Sylvester Ngwuta and Inyang Okoro; – the suspended Presiding Justice of the Court of Appeal, Ilorin Division, Justice Mohammed Ladan Tsamiya, who was picked up in Sokoto; Justice Adeniyi Ademola (Federal High Court); the Chief Judge of Enugu State, Justice I. A. Umezulike; Justice Kabiru Auta of Kano State High Court; and Justice Muazu Pindiga (Gombe State High Court).
The source said: “Corruption in the Judiciary was based on our intelligence gathering and alerts from informants and petitions. It is not based on the perception of Nigerians. We have been on the trail of some of these judges in the last few months.
“For instance, we started probing one of the seven judges in detention since the Ramadan period of 2015. When we got sufficient intelligence on him, bordering on over N500 million bribe, we invited him.
“The judge was given a copy of our report on him. By the time he read it halfway, he prostrated, held the legs of the security chief (Lawan Daura) and begged for forgiveness. We captured the way he was reeling on the floor.
“We later sent a security brief on him to the National Judicial Council (NJC) with enough evidence. But he was cleared by the NJC as having committed no wrong. Since the NJC could not do the needful, we have decided to subject him to a judicial process.
“We also have a case of one of the judges who refused to unlock a safe in his house when our operatives went to his house. We may actually secure the leave of the court to relocate the safe to Abuja.
“Another detained judge got a contract from Bauchi State Government and obtained a loan from a bank. But when he defaulted in paying back the facility, the bank filed an action against him before the Federal High Court in Bauchi. What is the business of a judge with contract?”
Another source gave insights into the ongoing operation against 15 judges by the DSS.
“We are digging more and getting fresh revelations from these judges. For instance, a Federal High Court judge in detention actually spread the N54 million and $171,779 recovered from his residence in different rooms. He kept them in different parts of the rooms like a thief.”
“There is no immunity conferred on judges, we are only duty bound to protect the court because it is a sacred place, a temple of justice. Once you have issues, you go to court but immediately a judge is outside the court, he or she is like you and me.
“There is nothing unusual about the arrest of judges other than it has not been the practice. But it is normal. Once a petition is lodged, it is normal that you just have to look into it as a security agency.”
“We have started looking into allegations against some banks; we have torn all banks apart. Some bank chiefs have been coming to the DSS office in Abuja for clarifications on some transactions we are investigating.
“Every week, not less than three bank officials come here. We will let you know the outcome soon.”

Social media needs International Regulating Council - Wale Ojo Lanre

The EVIL OF SOCIAL MEDIA
Social Media needs International Regulating Council - Wale Ojo Lanre
If a blogger or web master can just woke up and fabricated a lie brazen in its criminality and affirming authoritatively that Alhaji Aliyu Dangote is dead , when the Africa billionaire is sound and alive then there is an urgent need for an international regulation , control and monitoring

GIRL - CHILD ARE USELESS ? ? By Wale Ojo Lanre

GIRL - CHILD ARE USELESS ? ?
By Wale Ojo Lanre
Do you mean girls are Useless ?
Count me out
I was just like you before
I hate to have girls
I never prayed for females as children
Don't blame me
Blame the chauvinistic nature of our society
Blame the primitive thinking that of AROLE
The thinking of who perpetuates the family Tree
Believing that only a MALE child is It
I swore never to praise God if he dashed me
A female child
Yes
But as I grow up
I calmed down to watch Anti MOPE
Who would , no matter what, still managed
To send foods items , clothing and bottles of whisky to her father
The late Eshinmo John Fowowe in Usi and Iya Oniru
All the way from Ede of Osun Division
She was also the one who knew that Eye Bebe ( my paternal grandma ) would be in need of some items
My father's concern was work , money and comfort of
the immediate family
While that of Eye bebe is secondarily
But Mope will not have that
And when I became matured , employed and unmarried
My father fell ill
Admitted at Federal Medical Centre , Abeokuta
I was duly informed of his predicament
And like a good boy , pulled a call through and assured
I would be there but I had to attend to my job
However , immediately , my sister Anti Funmi
Who then was with the
Late Tai Solarin @ Mayflower Junior school, Ikenne was informed
She quickly obtained permission from Sheila Solarin and relocated
To the Federal Medical Centre, Abeokuta with pot of soup, provisions and all and all .
I think I got there two days after
And my father told me what my sister did
How she got came with a lot of items and empathy
He asked me to commend her spirit
He told me how useful female children are
After spending some hours
I had to leave for Ibadan for I have a deadline to meet
All what I did was to support Anti Funmi with few naira
And I left for Ibadan
My father spent Two weeks at FMC , Abeokuta
I did not keep a night
But the females did
I only reinforced their finance
And when he was celebrating his 70th
At SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church ,Lantoro Abeokuta
The girls were there with their geles with their friends
Moyo was there too
I was there , but the acts and deeds of the girls were more noticeable
I think about the finance most of the time ,
While the girls think of empathy, emotion, affection and presence
And at 74 , when he was struck by cancer
And had to be admitted
At Continental Medical Centre , Ibadan
The ladies played the NURSE !
I remember my daughter, Bukky staying by her bed for 8 weeks
And when he died
And the present catholic Bishop of lagos had to travel all the way to Usi for his burial
The girls wept more and more and more
SALUTE TO THE GIRLS
I BOW AND RESPECT YOU ALL
HAPPY GIRLS DAY
MI A SEHIN ( Usi dialect , i will forever respect you women or girls )

A CORRUPT MAN IS AN ENEMY OF THE SOCIETY
HE GIVES NO SOCIETY ANY HONOUR AS HE DEALS BRUTALLY WITH THE SOCIETY IN A CORRUPT MANNER
THE SOCIETY OWES WHOEVER IS FOUND CORRUPT OR AIDING AND ABETTING CORRUPTION ANY DECENT TREATMENT
WE ARE ALL SUFFERING IN NIGERIA BECAUSE OF CORRUPTION
AND I DON"T THINK IT IS FAIR TO ACCORD ANYBODY
WHO IS A CONTRIBUTOR TO THIS ECONOMIC MALADY BATTLING NIGERIA
ANY DECENT TREATMENT
NO MATTER HIS STATUS , OFFICE , AGE AND PROFESSION
JUDGES ARE HUMAN BEING
THEY SHOULD ENJOY WHATEVER IMMUNITY WITHIN THE CONTEXT OF THEIR DUTIES AND PROFESSIONAL CALLING
A JUDGE WHO WHO ADVERTENTLY AND KNOWINGLY HARBOURS A WANTED DANGEROUS CRIMINAL IN HIS HOUSE
SHIELDING HIM FROM BEING ARRESTED AND PROSECUTED
AUTOMATICALLY CALLS FOR HIS ABODE TO BE DEFILED BY AGENTS OF THE LAW
JUDGES ARE LORD
I MEAN LORD
AND WHEN A LORD TURNS TO BE A THIEF
HE DESERVES A THIEF'S TREATMENT

Gov Fayose , where is Ekiti airport Project ? by Wale Ojo lanre

Gov Fayose , where is Ekiti airport Project ?
by Wale Ojo Lanre .
3 October 2015 ·
ON EKITI AIRPORT I STAND
My deposition on the new Ekiti Airport
I WALE OJO - LANRE , Adult , Male , Student , Christian, IYA OLURU Chambers , Irede Estate , Usi , Ekiti State , Nigeria , , do solemnly swear that
I am solidly in support of the construction and planting of an Airport in Ekiti State
That my support is rooted in my believe that the project is one of the instruments needed to stoke the economic buoyancy of Ekiti state
That the Airport will bring unimaginable turn around in the economy of Ekiti state right from its construction to its operation .
That the said Airport on completion will expose for patronage and development the numerous tourism potentialities of the state
That the said Airport is long over due and a dream that should be turned to reality
That an Airport is not functional in one state does not mean that it will not be viable in Ekiti
That I solemnly believe , though I am not on the same page with the present Governor of Ekiti State , Dr Ayodele Fayose , who was widely voted for by the people of the state despite all my spirited effort to persuade them fell into deaf ears because of the fact that I never believe that any good thing could come out of his tenure , that the Airport project which he has commenced its construction is not only desirably viable for Ekiti but necessary and needed for the transformation of Ekiti from the erroneous conception of a backward state to an advanced and economically developed state which all indigenes will be proud off .
That I strongly believe that Ekiti deserves the best of the best as i believe and supported the former Governor Dr kayode Fayemi on the construction of a supra modern and gracefully befitting Governor's house on Oke Ayoba and transformation of Ikogosi Warm and Cold Spring Resort , the two wonderful projects which the Ex - governor at least has not taken to his home town or acquired as his personal effects, Though he could have used the fund for the two projects on either stomach infrastructure or other non viable or non- existence "welfare' schemes .
That I believe that Governor Ayodele Fayose will liaise with all necessary authorities at making sure that the airport project is not only a propaganda intention but a reality .
That I also believe that the said Airport will be both Passenger and Cargo in form and operation so that it will accommodate future necessities
That I believe that the Governor will be transparent and made opened to the public all the financial transactions on the project
That the Governor will ensure proper and public accountability in the award of contracts and construction of the said Airport
That the Governor should made public every MOU and agreements signed for the realization of the Airport
That Governor Fayose should not look back or jittery over this laudable step as this project is bound to cultivate and generate controversy and odium not because of any hatred towards his person but because of mis perception of the import of the project at this point in time
That , I believe the Governor will ensure a proper dissemination and creating of awareness of what an airport will bring to the ordinary person on the street and economy of Ekiti
That I have no apology to whoever on this view
That I made this deposition on self conviction and hope in the greatness of Ekiti State
That i believe whatever is good for other states is Good for Ekiti
That i made this deposition at the public Tribune today 3rd of October 2015
May God bless Ekiti
,,,...........................................................................................................
Note :i am happy
That Ekiti Governor's House located in Oke Ayoba is one of the bests in Nigeria
That Ekiti has a pavilion which can host world conferences and Revival
I am Happy that Ekiti has a first class tourism site Ikogosi warm Resort which has been upgraded to a world class
I am happy that Ekiti is constructing a Youth Development Centre
I am joyful that Ekiti is adding to all these and others an Airport !
We shall get there
We are getting there
Let us make the Airport real in Ekiti
Ure Ekiti a soju ra ooooooooooooooooooooooooo

Government should ban products of company that relocates from Nigeria - Wale Ojo lanre

Government should ban products of company that relocates from Nigeria - Wale Ojo lanre
"Äny company or corporate organisation that relocates from Nigeria to other countries at this particular period of our national struggle is a saboteur. Such a company's product is not supposed to be seen or sold on the soil of Nigeria. The government should ban the products of such companies from coming into the country and put up measures of castrating its network from further operating in Nigeria. A company that has interest of Nigeria and Nigerians at heart will not abandon the country at this period of trial, but will stay, look inward and salvage it together with us." .

See the shame of Ibadan indigenes !

Where are the Ibadan  Ajorosuns  ? Ibadan First Storey building is crying !
By Wale Ojo Lanre
where are the glorious people of Ibadan
Where are te good people of Ajorosun ?
Where are the Ibadan Christians
I celebrated my own Independence Anniversary
Loitering around this great building
with many thoughts running round my brains
.Yes . this building located inside the St David's Cathedral , Kudeti ,
Ibadan , Oyo State
Is to all the first Storey building in Ibadan
and thus , the Second in the South West
The foundation was laid in 1844
And completed in 1845 as the first Mission House for Reverend and Mrs Thomas Hinderer .
Thus, Ibadan, once described as the London of Negroland
Has the singular pride of hosting this first
Which it should be
As it is
A bi- focal historical Monument Serving as
Religious Monument
The Kudeti Mission House on June 25, 1855 played host
To the Christian faithfuls , the first set to have
ever received the Sacrament
And also , where , the first set of visitors
Were including the then baale, Baale Olugbode and his Chiesf
Saw themselves in a Mirror
Also , it should also served as an architectural Monument
Which gves insight into the building mindset of the then Missionaries
Yes , this building is supposed to be
An ornament of tourism , history and money making
But , poor us .
and shame too
To our lack of robust or thin sense of preservation
i mean to our insensitivity to things
That cannot only served as evidence of history
To generations yet unborn
But as a jewel of tourism attraction with its wealth creation values
I therefore appeal to all
First to all members of the CMS ,in Nigeria
At least , the place though which is being
inhabited by some people
Is officially the Headquarter of Bible Society of Nigeria !
The local government can take it over
Look for Christians who are genuine
To rehabilitate
this ICONIC building
And we the good people of Ibadan
The home of many first
Should not allow this building to crumble
it will be a shame of History
It will be a shame to us all
That we allallowed the First ever
One storey Building in Ibadan
To collapse. .
