Mimiko is Stupid !
Honestly , I think so
And I am sure avery few of us who are stupid
people are thinking this way
I don't know whether you are among
And for me ? I think I am one of them
And I am sure we are many
Those that believe that the Governor Olusegun
The outgoing Governor of Ondo State has been Abayomi Mimiko acting ,
Stupidly after his candidate , Eyitayo Jegede lost the election
In circumstances which was engendered by high level of
Judicial and political conspiracy
We are angry that Mimiko is not a Nigerian politician
We are doubting if he is a HUMAN being
We do not believe he is a made in Nigeria politician
We cannot just believe that a Nigerian politician
Can and should behave like this
Going by the whole scenario and circumstances
which surrounded the denial of victory of Eyitayo Jegede
We are expecting Mimiko to behave like some of his counterparts
Who had suffered electoral humiliation while in power
And particularly some of whom who were
Never traumatised with judicial instrument
None of whose candidate was prevented from campaigning
And none of who whose candidate was not excluded from
the various debates in their states
Yet , Mimiko, whose candidate suffered plethora of injustices
Has refused to GO to the Tribunal to slug it out !
Mimiko and his candidate has rather taken their fate in graceful latitude as if there are no genuine grounds for judicial engagements
And just like he did when Chief Olusegun Obasanjo verbally abused and assaulted his parental sensibility
Mimiko , as a responsible and well brought up Yoruba ,Egi,
Warned all his media friends
Not to return or exchange any salvo of insult to the Statesman. Unlike a counterpart of his who would have rained torrents of abuses on the Ebora Owu
And unleashed his internet mad dogs after the baba
Nay , Mimiko never did that
He and Jegede is not contemplating going to the Tribunal
While some of us
i mean those of us
Who wold have profited financially and otherwise
From the legal tussle one way or the other
have been telling him
Pointing out the grounds of laws
Citing the necessary sections of the statutes
And quoting legal authorities and luminaries
Pointing out the various mis-step
Which are brazen in their illegalities
Committed by INEC and the Courts
Some good grounds which we have told him
have remained inconsistent with the Constitution
of the Federal Republic of Nigeria law
And aberrations and dirty slaps to the Electoral
But this strange politician of our time
Has obstinately like an Egi refused our entreaties
To go to the Tribunal
Has rejected our prodding to 'Sue the bastards '
As the lawyer will say
The best performing Governor to my opinion
Has remained unconvinced
And refused to be convinced
Why he should waste his time
Waste his money and goodwill
And expended productive efforts
On series of legal gymnastics
To challenge the conduct of
the 2016 Gubernatorial election
in Ondo state despite the brazen malpractices
political and legal conspiracies
It is this singular refusal of his
that some of us
Foolishly think that
He is stupid ! .
Is he not ?
Governor Mimiko is a man of far sight. Despite things not going the way he would have loved politically, but looking at the unprecedented manner in which the APC FG gagged and Stage managed the Ondo election, it is of more wisdom to allow Nature take is course, sit and re-learn the newly evolved political environment against further interventions.
ReplyDeleteGod so good, only those who can not see the sun would claim they didn't see the good works of Mimiko in 8years, even Akeredolu, the Governor elect commends him.
Hnmmmmm! Good work indeed, how many roads were tared in that 8 years of his administration if I may ask. Mimiko is a failure my brother. Any government that failed on basic infrastructure has failed woefully. The cosmetics projects he embarked on makes him a failure. Let's look back and reflect on those projects executed by Fayemi's administration in Ekiti State. The man touched virtually all the over 150 towns and villages within the spate of four years. And paid over 25,000 aged people at least 5,000 naira every month in order to make poverty an history in that state. We must not forget the gigantic project Fayose is doing in Ekiti in terms of the road dualisation, rehabilitation and construction. What of the flyover project. Mimiko earns huge allocation among his counterpart Governor with little or no projects executed in the state. I must also say, if you affirm that the Ondo guber election was rigged, it's. just a mere figment of your imagination. All I will like you to say is that money play out. Yes indeed, APC bought votes from electorates, and all Political Party paid for votes but it went to highest bidder. SHIKKENA! Olatunde writes from Akure, Ondo state capital.
