Man squats down, poos in supermarket, then steals tissue from shelf to clean up
A man was caught on CCTV squatting in a supermarket aisle to wipe his bum with tissue he picked up from the shelf.
After he had cleaned himself, the hygiene-conscious thief threw the soiled tissue beneath the racks of merchanise and helped himself to some liquid soap for his hands.
Filmed in Tyumen, south-central Russia, the video shows the man shake his shorts in the aisle so that two pieces of faeces fall out and land on the floor.
He walks off to find the tissue aisle, then gets into the pose shown above.
According to social media user Leonid S, who uploaded the video, the man first roamed around the shop shoplifting goods which he stashed in his backpack.
Other customers complained to supermarket staff about the man’s smell but workers decided not to approach him and called the police instead.
By the time officers arrived, the man had escaped.
Police now want to find the man, who is likely to face catch-all charges of hooliganism.
The video, said to be shot on August 14, went viral due to its disgusting content.
One man who shared it, Maxim Batkovich, said: ‘Seriously the man come to a supermarket to do the shopping and decided to poop, why not?! He wiped his ass as if nothing happened. This is just crazy!!’
