Shameful act of Beautiful Nubia @ Lead City University , Ibadan last night ? by Wale Ojo Lanre

Shameful act of Beautiful Nubia  @ Lead City University, Ibadan last night?
by Wale Ojo Lanre

You need to be at the Afdeline hall of the prestigious Lead City university last night when one of the most creative nigerian folklore musician , Beautiful Nubia was a guest of the students.

Honestly you missed a lot not only that the students appreciated the prodigious talents of the artiste but the joyful way in which they chorus all his songs.

You also missed the stage management act and body control mechanism which Beautiful Nubia employed to harmonise and align his own act with that of his band members

seeing Beautiful Nubia on stage depicted either a man who has been possessed by the gods of music or a minstrel who is under the inspiration of oracle of songs

Beautiful Nubia combined both

He was not wild or hyperactive but all his acts responded and agreed in perfect symphony with the rhythm of his music

He controlled the stage as well as ensuring a balance of behaviour with the audience

However Beautiful Nubia spoilt the night of fun when he suddenly  turned to a preacher, a motivator , towards the last part of the show when he humbly sought the indulgence of the joyfully intoxicating audience for a word "I am happy you are happy my friends and fans . but do you know that your happiness is incomplete if you get home , room or wherever you stay and your neighbour is unhappy? kindly spread happiness , transfer the joy and make your neighbour feel good . That is one of the ways to make the world a better place to live "

He also said "My second point is that of change  You are the agent of change . Don't expect change to start rolling from down . You are the change agent . Remember , you can only give what you have . Some of you are going places and will make giant strides tomorrow . If you are not a change agent now you cannot be a change agent tomorrow . Be the hange . Take it to the top not from the top to the bottom . Let's imbibe this and make Nigeria better '"

And lastly my brothers and sister  "be proud of being africans , Spread love , unity and share love .

"And after , the man with Seven lives  ended it all with "ebami gbon odo yi gbe , ajagbal......"
But if you think this act of his is shameful , shame unto you but for me , it was a night of beautiful songs , inspiring folklore music singing , beautiful musics , beautiful rhythm, beautiful students and memorable message.

No wonder he is called beautiful Nubia, Eniobanke!
