Fayose is a liar – Zenith bank
The management of Zenith Bank has declared the Governor of Ekiti
State, Mr Ayodele Fayose as a compulsive liar who patently lied against the
bank in order to safe his face.
The reliable source from the bank said that “Governor Fayose
is evil minded and wicked. The Governor lied against the bank after the bank
refused the pressure of covering up the path of which certain sum of money was
deposited in his account for the election and after. “
The source revealed that “Our bank operates under the law in
Nigeria. We are under the obligation to adhere strictly to the law of the land
and obey CAMA Act to its letters. There is no way we could have cover up the
source of funding into the account of Governor Fayose without flouting the law
of the land at our own risk and the risk of depositors fund , fate and business
“
The source revealed that “the bank is totally embarrassed by
the `shameless outburst of the governor who proclaimed that Zenith Bank
bankrolled its campaign finances. We
have to tell the world that Governor Fayose lied against the bank “
It said that “the Zenith bank is not a political party. It
is not an irresponsible bank which will gamble with the fund of its customers
on political ground .Zenith is a focused bank with all essentials devoting to
banking ethics and culture. “
The source said “Nigerians should know that if Zenith Bank
has financed the campaign of Governor Fayose as he declared, the EFCC would not
hesitate to either close down our bank or called for sanction. In fact , the
whole episode is being revealed due to the adherence of Zenith bank to CAMA ,
Companies And Allied Matters Act “
The source pointed out “We are not going to join the
Governor in its garrulous voyage but will act according to the Laws guiding the
operation of financial institution in Nigeria “
