While recounting his achievements in the since he assume office, Sen Buhari listed the getting approval for roads projects including hitherto abandoned Ogbomoso- Oyo road, matainance of the old road, rehabilitation of Iseyin-Okeho road, as well as getting award letters for otu ipapo road, okeho iganna road and agunrege irawo road

Items distributed at the empowerment progarmm includes 16 cars 300 motorcyle , 273 sewing machines, 637 grinding machines, 142 generators,25 deep freezer, 12 tricycles and 55 spraying well for farmers in the state

, I know Senator Fatai Buhari . He is one of the most reliable , responsible , Trusting , Real and Useful politicians in Nigeria . Whenever Buhari promises to do a thing , consider that it is DONE . This Senator is TRUSTWORTHY . I remember when I was the Chairman of Oyo NUJ , Remi Oladoye facilitated his being a guest lecturer at the Hot Seat , an informative programme we designed for public figures . He came and delivered one of the most outstanding lecture we ever had . After the lecture , he asked for what the Union would want him to do . He first thought I would say money I told him if he donate money , we may spent it on frivolous things . He now asked whether I have a car , I responded that I have over 8 personal cars . He clarified that what he meant was whether the Chairman in Council has an official car and I responded in the negative . Alhaji Buhari then promised to give the Union a brand new Pegeout 306 in fifteen days. We thought it was one of those promises for except for Senator Gbenga Babalola from Oke Ogun , who donated the borehole which has been supplying water to Oyo NUJ since 2006 , Chief Bode George who donated a Bus , Senator Ajimobi who donated a generating set , others will come , make bogus promises which will remain promises . But instead of 15 days , a brand new car was delivered to the Union exactly on the 10th day . Since then , I have kept a watch on him and HE Senator Fatai Buhari has not failed . He is not only a promise keeper but genuine lover of his people who will never do any half measure or haphazard programme. Whatever he will do , he will do it in full measure . Thus , you will notice that his empowerment programme is not the "aje gba je 'nsimi thing "like others but a massive bailout for all category of people . Senator Fatai Buhari is real . He is truly a Senator of his people .
